MY SERVICES
I offer teletherapy sessions to folx who are dealing with mental health concerns.
Navigating the ups and downs of life doesn't come with a handbook. My goal is to help you develop the skills you need to manage the tough times and thrive in the good ones. After nine years in practice, I believe that the therapeutic experience should include authenticity, openness and growth. This is a place where we can work together to help you meet your goals.
I spent 5 years working primarily with undergrad/graduate students on the unique challenges that arise in this phase of life, and continue to enjoy working with this population. I also have extensive experience supporting people struggling with depression, anxiety, and traumatic experiences. Additionally, I enjoy working with adult children of parents with personality disorders.

I am inclusive, welcoming to all, and believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the key to success. My social work practice is rooted in person centered, solution-focused treatment that highlights the strengths and resiliency of the individuals I serve.

I am offering exclusively video-based appointments.

ABOUT ME

I earned my B.S. in psychology at the University of Maryland (UMD), after which I spent several years working in the UMD Child Development Lab where I researched emotional and social development in kids ages zero - seven. While I enjoyed this time, my passion led me to the interpersonal and relational aspects of psychology. I spent two years at Boston College earning my Masters in Clinical Social Work with an emphasis on children and families. I currently hold my License in Clinical Social Work/Supervision in the states of Texas and Tennessee.
I've worked in a variety of settings including outpatient child/family therapy, mobile crisis outreach, and college counseling. Through my work, I have developed empathy and appreciation for folx in different phases of life, places of privilege, and from a wide variety of backgrounds. This has helped form my approach to therapy as collaborative, person-centered, and with cultural humility.

I'm originally from the East Coast and after 8 years in Austin, TX, relocated to Nashville,TN. I am a huge animal lover and currently share my home with 2 dogs and 2 cats, all of whom like to occasionally make appearances during sessions. I try to take advantage of the nature scene with hikes, walks, and searches for the best swimming holes. I also get in touch with my creative side through embroidery and cross stitching.

Session cost ranges from $125 - $175 depending on service type and length of appointments. If cost is a concern, I will do my best to work with you to make therapy accessible without financial barriers.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under this law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
-
You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
-
Make sure your health care provider gives you a GFE in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule an item or service.
-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your GFE, you can dispute the bill.
-
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your GFE.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit
